PopUpCop's Customize Locale Specific Information allows you to adjust the names of dialogs that PopUpCop uses to detect annoyances.

PopUpCop uses Internet Explorer specific strings to identify useless dialogs. These strings are different for each language supported by Internet Explorer. This dialog allows you to change the strings to match your locale. Click the Extract info from Internet Explorer button to update the text used in each useless dialog.

Most users should not have to worry about this setting. It is intended for international users that are having problem with Internet Explorer dialogs.

Useless Dialogs

Each of the items on this page represents a useless dialog. If you are having problems with PopUpCop detecting these dialogs, then you can adjust the dialog titles to match your specific locale. Start by clicking the Extract info from Internet Explorer, which will populate the type-in fields with data directly from Windows. If these do not match the dialog titles you are seeing then adjust them to match.

Extract info From Internet Explorer

This button causes PopUpCop to extract dialog title information from Windows. The results are displayed in each of the Useless Dialog type-ins.
