PopUpCop makes a "Pow!" sound when it suppresses
a popup. It can also make a sound when it doesn't
suppress a popup. You can choose the sounds if you
have others you prefer, or turn them off entirely.
Here's how:
Choose Customize PopUpCop... from PopUpCop's
pulldown menu
(click the
shield button), then click on the Sounds tab
and press the button labeled Clear the sound. Press OK to save your changes.
While you can always adjust you speaker volume, you might feel that the "Pow" sound is still too loud.
We have prepared a few sound files with lower volume for you to use.
