Cookie list
This dialog features a list containing all the cookies that Internet Explorer has stored on your system. For each cookie, this list shows the following information:

  • Path
The name of the Web site or Web domain that stored the cookie on your system.

  • Name
Web sites can store many different cookies on your system. Each has a name.

  • Value
Very often the value of a cookie is an apparently meaningless series of letters and numbers. Web sites use these values (often called keys) to look up additional information in a dataabse on their servers.

  • Created
The date and time that the cookie was created (local time).

  • Expires
The date and time that the cookie expires (local time).

  • Delete?
PopUpCop offers a number of different ways to delete cookies from your system:
    1. You can delete individual cookies using this dialog.
    2. You can delete all cookies (except those that you exempt from deletion) by choosing Clear cache from PopUpCop's right-hand chevron menu.
    3. You can automatically delete all cookies (except those that you exempt from deletion) each time you exit Internet Explorer by choosing to on the Exit options page.

This column shows how PopUpCop will manage deletion of this cookie. The possible values are:

    1. Manual Delete. PopUpCop will delete this cookie if you choose to delete it using this dialog, or if you choose to delete cookies when clearing the cache or exiting.

    2. Exempt. PopUpCop will delete this cookie if you choose to delete it using this dialog. PopUpCop will not delete this cookie when clearing the cache or exiting.

    3. Trusted. This cookie was stored by a Trusted Web site. PopUpCop will delete this cookie if you choose to delete it using this dialog. PopUpCop will not delete this cookie when clearing the cache or exiting.

    4. IE Accept List. This cookie was stored by a site in your "Always accept cookies from" list in Internet Explorer version 6. PopUpCop will delete this cookie if you choose to delete it using this dialog. PopUpCop will not delete this cookie when clearing the cache or exiting.
